A patch test will be sent to clients before their appointment. Please forward your address.
A Consent and Medical form will also need to be completed and returned before your appointment.
If you have a Medical Condition and are under a doctor’s supervision, you will have to bring a GP’s consent letter to your appointment, stating that you are suitable for PMU treatment. If you don’t bring this letter, we won’t be able to proceed with the treatment
DO NOT work out on the day of the procedure as body heat expands the pores.
Absolutely NO sun or tanning before the procedure or after the procedure for 14 days. The tan will exfoliate, taking colour with it as it fades. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48-72 hrs before your procedure. Avoid alcohol or caffeine on the day of the procedure, as this will minimise any oozing or swelling after the procedure. No waxing or tinting 3 days before. Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
PERMANENT MAKEUP WILL NOT BE PERFORMED IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.
IF YOU USE BOTOX OR FILLERS, IT SHOULD BE PERFORMED EITHER 8 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED PROCEDURE OR 8 WEEKS AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE.
You MUST be off Retin-A or Retinols for 7 days before your appointment and avoid using them on or around the area for 30 days after.
If used before 30 days, it can cause the pigments to fade prematurely.

Aftercare treatment for the following FIVE days.
Clean with a damp cotton pad and apply a rice-sized grain of ointment to each brow, three times a day.
DO NOT oversaturate the brow, causing it to sweat.
The treated area will appear darker and bolder, as well as more sharply defined, this will last up to a week.
During the 3-4 week healing process, the treated area will soften and lighten. The true colour will not appear until after at least 4 weeks.
Redness and swelling is usually minimal and will disappear within 48 hours. In rare cases, it may reach 3 days. The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards, but there should be minimal discomfort. Make sure hands are washed thoroughly before touching the treated area.
Keep the treated area clean with a damp cotton wool pad. While showering or bathing, avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first 7-10 days, as they can be detrimental to the bonding process that must take place for the pigment to stabilise in the dermis. Only use the balm given on the day of treatment for the following five days.
DO NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring and premature loss of pigment.
IMPORTANT: Once the flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of healing skin will completely cover the coloured area. It may appear as though the treated area has completely disappeared. Within 2-3 weeks, the colour will slowly reappear as a lighter shade as your skin regenerates.
DO NOT apply makeup to the treated area for the first 2 weeks. Chemicals of any kind may interfere with the healing and colour of your new eyebrows.
Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up appointment no sooner than 4 weeks later.
Colour is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try and remove it yourself by any means whatsoever. Patiently wait 7 days.

The procedure will take 2.5 hours. This includes numbing cream.
Top Up procedures will take 1-2 hours.
On the day of your appointment, I start by taking some “before” photographs, just before applying numbing cream. While allowing the cream to take full effect, I look at the shape of your face and your existing eyebrows. I evaluate whether they need reshaping, filling in, lifting, thickening or defining.
I will discuss the desired look you’d like to achieve and design your brows, which are bespoke to you. This is done by drawing a template of the required shape of your eyebrows and checking each line of symmetry according to the proportion of your face. I often modify the template as necessary until your desired look is achieved. Once the final design is agreed, we will discuss the colour of the pigment to be used, always complementing your natural colouring.
Only when we are both happy with the design and colour choice will I commence your treatment. Finally, we will take some “After” photographs; the result will be natural and fuller-looking brows.
After the treatment, I will provide an aftercare guide including ointment.
